  • Third-Party Data Integrations: Banking Data (via Plaid or similar), Market Data (via Polygon.io), Trading Accounts (broker connections).
    Most financial data is stored locally in your self-hosted instance of PennyOS. Only limited metadata (such as license validation or minimal integration data) may flow through our management API.

  • Authenticate and manage licenses.
  • Process payments and billing.
  • Monitor usage for security and fraud prevention.

  • Self-Hosted: You are responsible for the security of data stored in your self-hosted PennyOS instance.
  • Management API: We maintain appropriate safeguards for limited data that passes through our servers (e.g., license information).
  • Third Parties: Data shared with providers like Plaid or Polygon is governed by their privacy policies.

  • Service providers (payment processors, cloud hosting, support tools).
  • Third-party APIs you connect to (Plaid, brokers, market data).
